Well I finally finished my mesh portrait a few days ahead of schedule! This was a challenge, I've seen some really realistic faces from illustrator and decided I would give it a shot. The face, except for the eyes, is a single mesh. the chest and shoulders are also one mesh. The hair is a crazy mix of subtle gradients and flat colors.

I hope you all like it, let me know what you think. I really appreciate the feedback!

100% illustrator, except I output a PS file from Illustrator and shrunk it down in PS then output for web, as I do in all my illustrations.

You know I thought about it when I was making this but I never took the time to take any screenshots along the way, :-( Someone else suggested posting a version with the mesh showing which could be helpful. I may do that, would that help?
